Wildlife of Blink includes drawings and paintings based on still video images from a series of outdoor cameras in the Hudson Valley. The blink of the camera is witness to prey and predators that include deer, bobcats, foxes, and eagles. The largely unseen backyard wildlife slowly and quickly roam through their habitation of our shared property. The strobe’s distorted lens illuminates their presence, suggesting an other-worldly and primitive snap of time.
